Our Hens

Feeding the Chickens - GOOD FOR THEM

Feeding the Chickens - GOOD FOR THEM

We have 6 hens that lay eggs regularly. Guests are welcome to help themselves to the fresh eggs. Just remember not to let them out and close (and latch) the door as there are foxes about! There are normally some egg cartons in the kitchen pantry.

Guests are also welcome to feed the chickens with kitchen scraps but please follow the simple rules here as some foods are bad or toxic for them.
